Welcome !
I’m so honored you’re here. Whether this is your first birth or your fifth, your story matters deeply—and I want you to feel safe, supported, and seen every step of the way.
At The Hue of Maji, I believe birth is more than a medical event, it’s a sacred transition. Every mother carries her own hue, shaped by life, culture, pain, love, hope, and wisdom. I’m here to honor that. I’m here to walk with you through the waves, calm or strong and remind you that you were never meant to do this alone.
As your doula, I’ll hold space for your questions, your rhythms, your fears, and your power. My presence is here not to lead, but to support. Not to direct, but to affirm. You deserve to birth in peace, to be cared for with dignity, and to enter this next season feeling held.

From going in nervous to being in total fear from having to undergo an emergency c-section, Christina’s support kept me grounded the entire time. She asked the questions that needed to be asked and advocated for me as if I were herself. Her care, concern, and knowledge made my experience easier. I felt the love the entire time and I wouldn’t have had bringing my son into this world any other way! If I ever have a child again, I will FOR SURE hope she is available because she absolutely has to be there!

From the beginning of my pregnancy, to the end of my pregnancy, up until now to be honest. Christina has been right by my side. Guiding me, mentoring me, keeping me calm, and making sure my voice was heard. Putting me and my baby first. Christina makes you feel like family. She goes above and beyond a regular dual would. Christina always had a positive, cheerful, and supportive attitude. While giving birth this is the person right beside you. Keeping you calm and making every moment memorable.

Christina Jackson was my birth support in 2013 for the birth of my first child. I went into the hospital on September 5th and gave birth the morning of September 6th. My husband was deployed at the time and sadly wasn’t able to be there, but Christina stepped in and stayed with me the entire time. From the moment she arrived, she brought such a calming, reassuring presence. She was comforting, attentive, and helped me with anything I needed physically and emotionally. This was my first baby, so I was completely new to everything. When labor wasn’t progressing and I had to be put on Pitocin, it felt like I was fighting for my life, but Christina was right there, guiding me through every contraction with such patience, strength, and care. Even during the hours I spent pushing, she never left my side. Her words of encouragement gave me the strength to keep going when I didn’t think I could anymore. After I gave birth, Christina stayed with us to make sure I was okay. I was completely exhausted and I had a really hard time during the pushing stage. Once the nurses and doctor left, Christina stepped right in to care for my daughter so I could get some much needed rest. I am forever grateful for all of her support. Without her, I honestly think I would have gone crazy and I may have ended up needing a C-section. Christina was everything I didn’t know I needed during such a vulnerable time. She was nurturing, strong, supportive, and just an incredible presence to have in the room.
10 out of 10 would absolutely recommend her to anyone needing birth support. You will not regret having her by your side.
